Kick off Event to U.S. Social Forum
On June 22, 2009, the Detroit Local Organizing Committee (DLOC) is coordinating the official US Social Forum Kick-off presentation, performance and potluck at the USSF Detroit office. It will be a spectacular celebration as we mark the one year kick off to USSF II in Detroit 2010!
The event will include a press conference, USSF slideshow presentation, art and musical selections, performances, and lots of great food! Anyone near southeast Michigan is invited to stop in, meet DLOC participants, and join in this diverse social movement event for change.
