Urgent Volunteer Needs: Updated 6/17/10



  1. Bilingual Volunteers: We need people fluent in English/Spanish to assist with registration, information booths and greeting.  Contact Roberto at roberto@ussf2010.org.

  2. Interpretation and Translation: Volunteers are needed setting up and taking down equipment that will be used by Language Access.  Email willisa@gmail.com.

  3. Outreach during Fireworks: people are needed to share information about the USSF at Hart Plaza on 6/21/10 from 10:00am until the end of the fireworks.  Contact williamwholenote@gmail.com to sign up for this exciting effort.

  4. People’s Media Center: Visit the PMC site for volunteer opportunities - http://www.ussf2010.org/media.

  5. Solidarity Housing:  volunteers needed to help answering calls and helping with organization. Email Ms. Darnell at eugeniadarnell2@ymail.com.

  6. Tour Aids: volunteers are needed to sell tour passes and direct people to the tour buses.  Contact Priscilla at peekd@lppals.com.

Many, many things are moving around the country as 20,000 people prepare to converge in Detroit. Meetings are taking place. Pre-trips to Detroit to support local communities & organizers are being planned. Others are busy planning People's Freedom Caravans, whether by bus, train, car or bicycle.
