The US Social Forum has secured a number of vans and buses which we are using as shuttles along the high traffic routes of the Forum. A schedule for these shuttles will be available at Cobo Hall at the Information Desk on the First Floor. We are running shuttles to and from the airport on an hourly schedule, and running shuttles between major
sites and events of the USSF (including the Leftist Lounge party Friday night).
Wednesday, June 23rd the shuttles can be found on the lower level of Cobo near the Riverwalk area for pickup of passengers. Other areas may be used on other dates of the conference depending upon traffic issues. Check with the Information Desk on the First Floor of Cobo Hall for further details.
We have a limited number of wheelchair accessible shuttles; please ask about availability at the Info Tables.

We have negotiated with the city of Detroit to get $5 Unlimited Daily People Mover/DDOT tickets for USSF attendees, which will be available at Cobo Hall.
The People Mover covers a wide circle of downtown Detroit, while the DDOT bus service covers the rest of the city. Cobo Hall is easily reached from the Cobo Center stop on the People Mover. The People Movers run until Midnight Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, and until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. DDOT buses run (slowly) throughout the night.

Limited parking will be available on the roof of Cobo Hall at a rate of $8/day. We encourage USSF attendees to park at the many parking lots available at a $5-10/day rate around downtown Detroit and take the People Mover to Cobo Hall. Buses may park on the south side of Cobo Hall in designated spaces.

If you brought your own bike, this is the best way around town. We'll have bike racks for parking at Cobo Hall, Youth Bike Village (Woodward and Warren), the USSF Village and Hart Plaza.
Limited bike rentals are available for the duration of the forum for $15-$60 sliding scale at King Solomon Church (6100 14th Street). Pickup is on Tuesday June 22, from 10am – 2pm. We are grateful to Bikeit.org, The Hub and everyone who contributed bikes to Detroit for use during the Forum and as a long-term contribution to the community. Bicycles and funds will be used
to improve the community bicycle infrastructure in Detroit during and following the Social Forum. Bicycle donations are still accepted, and greatly appreciated!

A greeting table will be set up at the Airport and Airport pick-up shuttles will be running on an hourly schedule. Check the Information Booth for the most recent updates about airport shuttles leaving Detroit.
